Every Boxing Day two local schools have an Old Boys rugby game at Fylde's ground. It's a great opportunity for everyone to get out of the house after a Christmas day indoors. This year, the game has extra significance as Arnold School and KEQMS are due to merge next year into a new school called AKS. There has been a lot of opposition to the merger, mainly from KEQMS parents, so I couldn't resist having a go at a cartoon to spice things up before the game.
Inspired by Newspaper Blackout Poems and fed up of the No To The Takeover campaign concerning the merger of KEQMS/Arnold Schools, here's my adaptation of the Lytham St Anne's Express front page headline article.
